These cases look great and the prices are very reasonable. I am a little unsure of how to buy them though.

I have an enormous amount of Warhammer 40k miniatures. For example: At one time I would like to be able to transport say 3-5 tanks (though an option for 10 would be nice), several dreadnoughts, at least 3 bikes and 3 land-speeders, and approximately 40-50 jumppack troops and 40-50 space marine troops. Maybe an option for a landraider and like 10-20 terminator models also.

How much difference does the 1-inch versus the full sized foam make?

I am leaning towards a hard case, as I already have a soft one - but are the foam trays interchangeable if I were to buy both?

In this case i would prefer a HARD CASE XL eg. the Feldherr HARD CASE XL 108 and many Monster full-size Figure Case (http://www.us.feldherr.org/us/hard-case/hard-cases/feldherr-hard-case-108-and-many-monster-full-size-figure-case.html) .

This is a good mix betwee tanks and regular troop sizes.
